Mickey's Tavern | Wicker Park/Bucktown | Music venue, Corner Tap, Dive Bar | Music venue

Bar Details

Because of its location on an obscure dead end at the outskirts of Bucktown, you've probably only spotted Mickey's and its proud Stroh's sign while driving inbound on the Kennedy. This tucked-away wood-paneled gem is simplicity at its finest: as far as ambience goes, there's not a whole lot going on here other than some beer lights, an old jukebox, and a few knickknacks behind the bar. But when you're sitting on a cozy stool that's probably older then you, partaking of a giant $5 glass pitcher of Old Style, you really don't need much else for a nice time. —Luca Cimarusti
