Right, Orson, man cannot serve two masters. This is the same argument used to try to explain why Catholics should not have been allowed to immigrate to America. Namely, that they served the Pope and could not pledge allegiance to the flag. This has proven to be an incorrect, ignorant, unimaginative, and, at its core, hateful allegation. What about your own Mormonism? Are your allegiances divided between your country and your church? There are people who think so, but since this is America, they are forced to let you live in peace and you can pursue your happiness to the furthest extent you are able. It does not mean they don't think that Mormonism is a cult. And just like you thank your lucky stars that people like that have no real sway over your religion and ability to openly be Mormon, I thank my lucky stars that these laws protect me from you.
