Re: “Save Cantina 1910 from ignorant Yelpers

Mike: We "sheeple" aren't as simple minded as you think. I for one am able to weed out reviews by people who just don't like the type of food served (the one's that weren't ready for "high end" mexican). However, you yourself concede that some of the service criticisms are not without merit, and that is what has kept me from hopping on over there asap. And, as for your mentions of Pasticceria Natalina and Great Lake, well again it might have been a service and attitude problem. The former charging $9 for a baba au rhum and then ridiculing us for balking at it, the latter for running out of pizzas at outlandish times and then not caring about it. They were both "purists" who, in the end, didn't know how to run a business.

Furthermore, if indeed the restauranteur is blaming Yelp for their problems, then that is symptomatic of something of far greater concern.
