Maxwell's at the Club | River North | Contemporary/Regional, Vegetarian/Healthy | Restaurant
This upscale American restaurant at the East Bank Club is open to the public; in addition to the sandwiches, salads, and grilled steaks and chops, low-cal options are available.

Our Review

The East Bank Club has a "members only" sign out front, but don’t let that deter you from wandering in and visiting Maxwell’s at the Club, an in-house canteen. In keeping with vigorously gymnastic surroundings, Maxwell’s dishes up health-conscious fare, including a hefty bunch of salads and sides like roasted brussels sprouts, grilled broccolini, and sauteed or steamed spinach. The menu lists the cal/fat/carb profile for some dishes, and chicken is free-range, salmon organic. Naturally raised veal chop is one beautiful piece of meat, caramelized and coated in rosemary and Parmesan. The bar has a recently expanded menu of beverages—many with the –tini suffix—and fills with folks rewarding themselves for a workout.
