Re: “Conquest of the Universe, or When Queens Collide

Hello, Malik Phills,
I got to see the preview performance of CONQUEST OF THE UNIVERSE OR WHEN QUEENS COLLIDE on Wed. night, May 9. I'm here to say, I loved the show! I really enjoyed the whole show, the music rock of the 80s, and the lights were full blast and fun. It took me back to my clubbing days with my friends! The cast totally ROCK the show. I loved the idea of having famous pop icons playing the roles. So much fun to see the actors spoof Madonna and Billy Idol and Cyndi Lauper and how they might walk on stage and sing their songs in this LUDICROUS science fiction sex comedy. Caitlin Jackson, as Debbie Harry playing the Queen of Mars, really rocked out both of her songs. She was funny and over-the-top but at the same time believable!

Even though my fiance, Sean-Edward Hall plays several roles in the show....and I love you and I'm proud of your hysterical roles...especially the orignal way you were killed by "GASEOUS EXPULSIONS"...I can be somewhat unbiased with the rest of the cast. This cast really works and sings their asses off! My only criticism for the show is I wish that the stage was bigger to let the cast spread their wings more and have the room to allow more of an audience to see them fly! The set painting is gorgeous and the lights are something you HAVE TO SEE! It literally felt like being at a Rock Concert! Everything was great in my book and I will go see it again. If you love fart jokes, bawdy sex jokes, Shakespeare and 80's pop...this show is for you!

And Zabina (Caitlin), if you need a cigarette THAT bad, don't just "give it away", I'll give you my short, baby!
