If you speak little or no Spanish, you're liable to feel left out of comedian Elizardi Castro's one-man show about his Puerto Rican heritage. While the jokes' setups are usually in English, the punch lines are usually not. Castro is a likable guy with keen observational skills and a gift for channeling seemingly every one of his relatives, from undermining cousins to his gently bossy mother and worrywart abuelito. But unlike the more substantive and universally relatable solo work of his fellow New Yorican John Leguizamo, Castro's show seems designed exclusively for audience members who will recognize themselves in Castro's experiences. There's nothing wrong with that--at the matinee I caught, the audience was in hysterics--but don't expect much if you fall outside the target niche. --Zac Thompson
