Action/Adventure, Crime drama, Drama
Man's deadliest weapon is his fists? Maybe, but watching this 1984 actioner could put you in a coma. Private detective attempts to rescue rich girl from Bhagwan Rajneesh-style cult, gets into trouble, but his ever-reliable fists help him out. Chuck Norris impersonator Leo Fong wrote, produced, and stars in this chop-socky vanity exercise, and a mounted mackerel has more screen presence than our impassive hero, who ought to go back to doing whatever he normally does for a living as quickly as possible. Frank Harris gets the nominal directing credit, and Troy Donahue and Cameron Mitchell, both wayward and wan, are along for the ride.
