Love Stinks

A woman determined to marry and the reluctant man she's chosen take turns being the antagonist in this bungled comedy, which exploits all the cliches about shrewish women and pussy-whipped men without achieving satire. Seth (French Stewart), a TV writer, and Chelsea (Bridgette Wilson), an interior decorator, meet and move in together in untenable scenes that equate his pursuit of sexual independence, domestic tranquillity, and professional success with her quest for three little words, an engagement ring, and color-coordinated throw pillows. Written and directed by Jeff Franklin; with Bill Bellamy and Tyra Banks.
