To the editors:

As a resident of the Graceland West area, I read the article on 1440 and 1446 West Warner, "Lot of Trouble" [November 30], with great interest. While the author relates many details of the complicated history of the lots, he does not do justice to the charm of the garden which the neighborhood, led by Ms. Buenger, has created. The few photographs which accompany the article do not capture the essence of Warner Park and Gardens. I have enjoyed the park on many occasions and I appreciate the efforts that have made that enjoyment possible. I think it is wonderful that a group of neighbors have combined their efforts to build a community park, and I applaud Ms. Buenger for giving so much of herself to her community.
