This is Lou Malnati's relative's restaurant at it is good, but it is not quite Lou's. The crust is very good on the deep dish pizza as well as the sauce, but it is too cheesy. I thought the pizza was good and I wouldn't mind eating it, but I would prefer Lou's any day!

Tuscany is a place to go where you will not be dissapointed. I lived in Tuscany for two months and the restaurant decor and many menu items bring me back to Florence. I like that the wait staff is Italian and they have regional dishes. It is one of the only restaurants that have prosciutto and melon on the menu and a caprese salad. They have a good variety of wood burning pizzas and good pasta dishes as well as meat dishes such as veal. It is a taste of italy down the street in Chicago!

Re: “Tutto Orsi

Tutto Orsi is a good neighborhood restaurant. It has reasonable and tasty Italian entrees. It is nothing to write home about, but you can count on a decent meal. The staff is very accomdating and you can order a house carafe of wine that is pretty good.

Exquisite!!!!!! I am in love with this resaurant! Everything was perfect. I enjoyed the minimalist approach to decorating. It was very modern and you could see the action in the open kitchen. Every table had a floating gerbery daisy in a small silver dish. The waitstaff was always there for you but not annoying. All of the little touches at Blackbird make this restaurant so great. The complimentary appetizer of salmon was so good and a great surprise. I loved my entree as well as my dinner guest's. It was the best halibut I had ever eaten. It was so light and flaky with such great flavor. I was on a natural high after I left the restaurant because I thought it was so good. Afterwards, we were also given a tiny complimentary plate of cookies. Those little touches! Please dine here, you won't be sorry.

Re: “Petterino's

I thik the ambiance of the restaurant is great. It reminded me of a restauraunt that was in the 40's. There was a large selection of food (steaks, fish, pasta dishes, etc) but not many that interested me. Everything on the menu was very fattening and heavy. They had fish but it was served in butter or with bread crumbs or a cream sauce. If you are health conscience, this is not the place for you. Our waiter was knowledgeable, but I was not pleased with the service from the other workers. The hostess and maitre'd made us wait and it was shortly after the theater crowd had left. I don't think it should take long to set up one table if most of the restaurant is empty. Then, out of all the tables available, they sat us at the kitchen door. When we asked them to move, they acted like it was a big deal and made us wait a while. I was not impressed with the janitorial staff as well. The bathroom had paper towels and paper all over the place. I am a big fan of Lettuce Entertain You restaurants and I have to say that this is one I will not visit again. The food was tasty, but not my style.
