To the editors:

In "How Do I Hate NPR?" (June 25) I reported that NPR reporter John Greenberg failed to interview Stephen Morris, the Harvard researcher who discovered a document that purports to show that the North Vietnamese held back several hundred American POWs when the two countries signed a peace treaty in 1973. I wrote that Greenberg, in preparing a story on the controversy over the document, simply taped Morris's words off ABC's Nightline. Greenberg says that I'm mistaken and he did interview Morris in the NPR studio. I have no reason to doubt Greenberg's account.
