Sexually liberated, that is. This comedy from eastern Germany gets off to a bad start with some strained Amelie-style exposition that marries voice-over narration with goofy still photos. But first-time writer-director Norbert Baumgarten eventually settles down to business, telling the agreeably inane story of a small town where the people's passion for soccer is exceeded only by their passion for one another's mates. There are also some refreshingly matter-of-fact jabs at racism as the local team's star player (Michael Ojake), a strapping lad from Africa, winds up between the sheets with the lily-white daughter (Johanna Klante) of a local builder. In German with subtitles. 93 min.
