Re: “The Depot

I had the best corned beef hash that I ever have eaten at the Depot today. The hash contained finely chopped, lean corned beef over freshly fried chunks of potatoes. My friend had steak and eggs. He said he had to eat around some gristle but the steak was tasty. Although the portions werent tremendous, they were very satisfying. The breads are fresh baked and thick sliced.

Its a small, very clean diner with friendly and efficient service. The prices are pretty reasonable however a bit quirky, eg. diet pop is 60 less that regular and pieces of cake and pie cost more than some sandwiches. Everything appears made in the diner and nothing looked canned or frozen like in alot of diners.

Id definitely recommend this place although its not a place to take a dinner date unless you are both into local diners. I'll definitely go back.
