I'm sure this offshoot of the Michigan hot dog chain fills some aching void for expats, but I can't see what its overextended menu of sub-HoJo-quality diner food offers the rest of us. Its two main claims to fame--thin Coneys that barely express themselves under mudslides of ground beef and chili and a wan iceberg salad with cottage cheese, beets, and chickpeas--compete with an uninspired assortment of Greek and American diner food, including spongy gyros, moussaka, saganaki, pastitsio, and avgolemono soup as well as sandwiches, burgers, and breakfast.
