To the editors:

How dare you! I picked up the Friday, November 27, edition of the Reader, get hooked reading the cover story, "A Simple Game: A Season with Manny Weincord and the Rough Riders of Roosevelt High" by Ben Joravsky. The story introduction was so engaging. I knew what was happening, I decided to go along with this technique and just enjoy the suspense, so I continued to read. I continued reading page 14, page 15, page 16, page 18, page 20, page 22, page 24, page 25, page 26, page 27, page 28, page 29, page 30, and page 31, and then you close the article with a note that "This is the first part of a two-part article"!!! How dare you take the reader through this agonizing journey only to leave us hanging until next week?
