The place for pho in Lincoln Square.

Our Review

The first spot to bring proper pho to Lincoln Square, L.D. Pho offers oceanic bowls, and a large is only $1 more than a $7 small. (That's excepting the house special featuring the full range of beef bits—brisket, flank, tendon, tripe, and meatballs—for $1 more.) The menu isn't nearly as epic as the typical Argyle Street pho shop's, but you can get bun kho, noodles with grilled pork, shrimp, chicken, or fried egg rolls; those egg rolls (cha gio) themselves, fried crispy and stuffed with rice noodles and tangy pork; the standard rice plates (com dia); mussels, salt-and-pepper shrimp, and frog legs; iced coffee; and a couple choices of banh mi. But really, it's all about the pho here.
