Re: “Kit Kat Lounge & Supper Club

New restaurant in the neighborhood, thought we would check it out... The waitress was very nice. The decor very "blackbird". But, blackbird with a drag queen lipsyncing to "fever" while you eat (not in a good way). The food was so-so, not that impressed when you consider the other options in the neighborhood. As for drinks, bring your own! This place is completely overpriced! My friend got a gin martini and it was $10.50! Give me a break! Where do these people think they are? The music was way too loud, a conversation was not going to happen at this place. I left that place feeling very disappointed and I will never go back. Honestly, there are much better options in the area!

We went in to get a small bite and it was outstanding! We sat at the bar and ordered from a new bar menu that has skewers of shrimp, filet and pork (at $2 a skewer... What a deal!!) We each got one of each kind of skewer (my favorite was the pork, but they were all quite tasty). This place is a great neighborhood restaurant. And it looks like they have sort of reconcepted the menu, lowered prices and menu options, for the better if you ask me! If you haven't checked it out, I highly reccommend it!

Re: “Mia Francesca

We had a nice dinner... Tons of food, you can't leave this place hungry, it is impossible! Not the most exciting place I've ever been, but it is good food, great seating in the back and I will be back for sure!

It's a great concept. Live entertainment and food that is good. It makes for a nice night.

We didn't mind the 15 minute wait at the bar. There was so much eye candy in the restaurant, including most of the staff! Everyone we dealt with was very friendly (the hosts, the bartender, our waitress and the busboys). We had a blast. Some guy even quieted the room so he could sing happy birthday to his friend- it was quite entertaining. The food was great- everything sounded a little crazier than it tasted- which is good. I wasn't quite sure how I would enjoy chicken with gouda, asparagus and PEARS... But, it was very subtle and very tasty. The room is almost as outstanding as the food, if only it were more cozy. I would highly reccommend dining here.
