Edgewater diner under the Thorndale el stop serving cheap American food.

Our Review

A quintessential hole-in-the-wall, this north-side diner nestled under the Thorndale el stop draws a diverse crowd with its menu of cheeseburgers, grilled cheese, and other classic cheap eats. The dark faux-wood paneling, lunch counter, and vinyl booths have seen a lot of wear, but it's still a great hideout, especially for an early-morning breakfast.
