Our Review

The vast menu at this mariscos place spans from morning huevos and chilaquiles to Guerrerense specialties like cecina and vuelve a la vida. The seven soups include shrimp, fish, tripe, and a chicken soup with bacon, celery, vegetables, and chipotle chiles. Cecina, the flavorful dried beef, is accompanied by cactus salad, avocado, and whole beans; the house combination special pairs it with chicken breast, chorizo, and cactus in a molcajete sauce. In addition to huachinango (red snapper) a la Veracruzana and other mariscos, La Condesa also gives you the option of parillada, a feast of grilled meats and seafood for two people ($50).
