Inside, this newest Toast looks almost identical to its Lincoln Park sibling. The walls are covered with unusual odds & ends, vintage toasters line the shelves. It's "cute." The service on the other hand can be sketchy at best. The staff can appear inconvenienced by your arrival and seem distracted by other things (personal phone calls) while you wait for your coffee to be refilled. The food is decent but the prices are steep for lunch ($16 for a sandwich and a latte). Toast has the breakfast thing figured out (ie: their famous Pancake Orgy) but perhaps lunch is testing their limits too much.
