One other question... Why is it that the CHA gave vouchers to 2 women who were not from Chicago? One moved from Indiana and one was from Mattoon, Il. Shouldn't someone who has lived in Chicago for at least a year been given the opportunity first?

I support helping people in need. But, when someone is attending law school, I wonder why a person with a college degree would be eligible for the program. Why does the CHA not go after the fathers for child support? If the fathers do not have jobs, why not give them jobs to be able to support their children as part of the voucher program. I would rather see part of the exorbitant rent funding go to employing someone or training for a skill rather than a rich landlord.
