Kitsch'n on Roscoe | Roscoe Village | American, Breakfast, Music venue, Restaurant | Restaurant
A kitsch-riddled diner, serving both up- and downscale diner food.

Our Review

For those who were teens in the 70s, Kitsch'n is sure to summon either a nostalgic smile or a cynical smirk with its vintage lunch boxes, skateboards, TV trays, etc. The menu offers dishes like Green Eggs & Ham (scrambled eggs with spinach pesto, scallions, and ham) and Huevos Locos (a spicy mixture of eggs, peppers, chorizo, cheese, and mango-mojito salsa). Sandwiches are served on fresh, thick-sliced bread, desserts include chocolate fudge brownie batter and Twinkie tiramisu, and this is probably the only place in town where you can order a Tang martini. Reservations aren't accepted before dinner on weekends, and be warned that the heated beer garden (which stays open till midnight) draws quite a crowd.
