Re: “Adobo Grill

As has been observed by hordes of others, the truly notable aspects of Adobo Grill are as follows: (1) spectacular guacamole, (2) uncomfortably crowded seating, (3) loud, loud, loud atmosphere.

After my second experience dining at Adobo, I am thoroughly convinced the only reason to return is the guacamole. While the menu items all sport mouthwatering descriptions, the only dish that didn't dissapoint was the corn chowder. Each of our other appetizers and entrees sounded divine but tasted...blah. Coupled with the noise and sardine-style seating, excellent guac and corn chowder just aren't enough.

Next time, I'll be steering my car east and south to Frontera Grill, where the prices are nearly the same, but the food...oh the food is out of this world.
