hate it till ya miss it. move away to somewhere it's not and you'll ramble on romantically about your time schlepping from one faux fado to another.

Re: “Is Angelo's Wine Bar a Cinderella story or pig in lipstick?

"Frankly, I'm surprised the neighborhood is ready to embrace $108 bottles of Barolo, $12 old-fashioneds, and fennel and grape pizza, but it's been busy."

Frankly, I'm surprised Mike was this gentle on a working-class neighborhood that doesn't play host to a bevy of quirky "haute cuisine" trends masquerading as restaurants. This same area has supported Michelin Starred, James Beard Award winning Arun's for years. Is Albany Park a diverse, working-class neighborhood? Yes! Absolutely. Does diversity and less-glamours occupations preclude a lack of taste or an unwillingness to pay for it? No! It doesn't.

Get over yourself Shula. If you were a pizza crust, you'd barely make the menu at Angelo's.
