Kate & Leopold

An eccentric scientist (Liev Schreiber) transports his great-great-grandfather Leopold (Hugh Jackman), a bachelor, from 1867 to contemporary Manhattan. After the scientist falls down an elevator shaft and winds up in the hospital, Leopold spends quality time with the scientist's neighbor and former girlfriend, Kate (Meg Ryan), an executive involved in market research. Director James Mangold and Steven Rogers wrote this romantic comedy.
