A polished quartet of singer-actors performs inventive arrangements of 13 seasonal standards in this charming revue. Musical director Jeremy Ramey makes time-tested material fresh, and the fine vocalists—Justin Adair, Amanda Hartley, Amanda Horvath, and Michael Reyes—deftly negotiate the fine line between tongue-in-cheek irreverence and sentimental tradition. Highlights include a jazz-tinged "Jingle Bells," an a cappella doo-wop version of "Holly Jolly Christmas," Adair's passionate and introspective rendition of "I'll Be Home for Christmas," a close-harmony "Let It Snow" that would do Manhattan Transfer proud, and a sambafied "Brazilian Noel" that evokes the heyday of Sergio Mendes and Brasil '66. Fred Anzevino's efficient staging establishes a warm connection between the performers and the audience. —Albert Williams
