Re: “Spoon Thai

One of my Thai favorites. They recently updated the interior with light-stained wood on the walls and a new banquette instead of booths. This makes the place look more open and spacious. Artwork is minimal but very unique.

Food is inexpensive and good. My dish wasn't quite hot enough -- maybe the kitchen had a window open tonight. BYOB is a nice plus.

Re: “Kamehachi

The sushi is consistently fresh and delicious. The prices are not too bad either. It's a really pretty room.

Re: “Bistro 110

This place has always been a dependable dining spot. The food is not the most exciting in the world, but I would go back again. at least it's consistent, and it's a convenient spot downtown.

Re: “Hugo's Frog Bar & Fish House

This place is average. The food was OK, and the place just gets way too crowded. One feels as if they just want to herd you in and out in order to place a group of "prettier-looking people" at your table. There's other restaurants in the city where the food is better/more reasonable, and make you feel more at home/welcome.

This place is not that exciting. The food is very bland, and the place was like a ghost-town. Not the preferred dining destination for singles!

Re: “Original Pancake House

The Dutch apple pancake is awesome; the regular buttermilk pancakes, however, were disappointing. This place is really only good for its specialty items. It's a convenient breakfast spot for the near north side.

Re: “Monastero's

This restaurant has been around forever. It has dependable service/food, but it's not very exciting.

The basics served up at Corner Bakery are always dependably good.

Re: “Kamehachi

What a jewel! The sushi is as fresh as it gets, and the most delicious I have ever had. This is a very attractive restaurant.

Re: “Reza's

Pretty good Middle Eastern food in the heart of Andersonville.
