Paula Kamen's biographical play follows the women who ran "Jane," a Chicago service providing abortions to women between 1969 and 1972—when it was illegal. Pride Arts Center hosts a reading of the work, directed by Iris Sowlat, followed by an educational discussion for how women, and male allies, can take tangible steps to advocate for women's rights in the current political climate.
