I thank you for bringing these inconsistencies to light ["A Little Secret About The Secret," June 1]. I had pretty much embraced The Secret's principles, though cautiously questioned some of the obvious inconsistencies. The obvious question however, seems to remain unaddressed. What is the name of the 100-year-old book that the author's daughter supposedly gave to her as a gift? If there is a sincere effort to share the truth, it would seem that this information should be willingly revealed.

West Chatham

Julia Rickert replies:

Rhonda Byrne refers to "a hundred-year-old book, given to me by my daughter Haley." In the dramatization of her discovery in the film the book has a blank cover.
