Delicious takeout pastries and savories, tucked away in an alley off Armitage.

Our Review

Down-to-earth despite her background at high-end restaurants (Gabriel's, Trotter's, Sugar), pastry chef Christine McCabe has tucked this little takeout window into an alley off Armitage. On offer are coffee, hot chocolate, and baked goods galore, from sweets such as cookies and light, ganache-y cake bites to pastries, both sweet and savory. Buttery croissants and seasonal specialties like pumpkin "Pop-Tarts" are hard to resist hopping off the train for (the Brown Line stop's just down the street); other standouts include sticky breakfast buns and muffins in genius combinations like blueberry-cardamom. Soups, sandwiches, and freshly baked focaccia are available later in the day.
