Tiny Loop Indian joint.

Our Review

I don't have the time to cab to Devon for weekday lunches, but Indian Express proves to be at least a somewhat viable option for Indian food in the Loop. While the young woman working the register was extremely helpful and friendly, the rest of the service was confused and disorganized. I asked for an explanation of the Sheikh Kebab. "Beef kebab," the counter helper told me. Knowing the Sheikh to be lamb, I asked him what the Boti Kebab consisted of. "Beef Kabab," he said again. I looked around the rest of the kitchen area, and there appeared to be six or so little elves running around, confusing themselves. Unfortunately, the Sheikh Kebabs were as dry as the service was disorganized--I finished the two out of hunger rather than desire. The samosas, however, are scrumptious. The size of golf balls and stuffed with potatoes and peppers, these inexpensive, crispy, golden gems are reason enough to return.
