A hit in Greece, this intermittently funny 2000 road movie has some nice moments, as a car collision at a rural intersection brings together a mental patient on leave and a volatile convict hiding loot from a bank robbery. The convict is being pursued by police, the patient by two clinicians “studying” him (director Nikos Zapatinas neatly spoofs the psychiatric profession when one of them attributes his own absurd misbehavior to an “inner impulse”). Some of the humor plays against sexual stereotypes: the ultramacho convict has a girlfriend who's cheating on him, while the bumbling patient seems to have a gorgeous young lover everywhere they stop. 93 min.
