After growing some marijuana in the ashes of a dead friend, a self-taught herbalist (Method Man) shares it with a perennial junior-college student (Redman) as the two prepare to take an aptitude test. Their supernaturally high scores get them recruited by Harvard, where they go mainly to seduce Ivy League women. The rest of the plot of this broad—and sometimes subtle—2001 comedy advances a not entirely tongue-in-cheek theory about the role of cannabis in intellectual history. Jesse Dylan directed a screenplay by Dustin Lee Abraham. R, 96 min.
