Says here the tween-to-teenage members of the Albany Park Theater Project "write, choreograph, compose, and stage" their own shows "in collaboration with a team of adult directors." Given the contrapuntal plotlines and adroit scene-building in this new, interview-based play about undocumented aliens, I have trouble believing that the kids made all that many directorial calls. But I have no doubts about their acting, which ranges from quite good to pass-me-another-tissue-please. Physical, committed, and unabashed, these young actors sell the piece even at its most precious and always represent the best qualities of their characters. Put Home/Land on for a Texas Minuteman and I wager you'd end up with another vote for the DREAM Act. —Asher Klein
