You incorrectly identified Chris and Henry as bootleggers ["The Bootleggers" by Tasneem Paghdiwala, August 17], when in fact they are music "pirates." Please learn the difference. Bootleggers record live concerts and usually trade those copies of the shows with other fans. Pirates illegally sell copyrighted music with no remittance to the band or artist. Bootleggers are not in it for profit and (with the band's permission) do their acts legally. (See the internet Archive.org for a list of live shows you can trade made and posted by bootleggers). Please do not call pirates bootleggers. Learn before you write.
