Hard Question

To the Reader:

Concerning Albert Williams's review of Hair at the New Athenaeum Theatre in your August 9 issue, the night I saw the play there one of the male cast members (no pun intended) had a massive erection during the nude scene that was clearly visible from the balcony. Did your reviewer simply fail to comment on this aspect of the play, or was the audience there the night I saw the play treated to a spontaneous "ad lib" by the performer?
