After ten years, Drinking & Writing Theater—a boozy side project of Neo-Futurists Sean Benjamin and Steve Mosqueda—finally arrives at the eternal question: Is the Almighty mightier than famed rock duo Hall & Oates? The answer, if you can call it that, comes in the form of seven inane challenges, including an oatmeal-eating contest and a surprisingly captivating game of Jenga. A few gripping personal monologues constitute the best things about the show. Some other bits—a freewheeling collection of half-baked sketches and videos—seem like they were more fun to create than they are to watch. But Mosqueda and Benjamin have an infectious good nature, and maybe the whole thing would've made more sense to me if I'd picked a few more pints off the Haymarket Brewery's craft beer list. —Keith Griffith
