The most beguiling of the several dozen rubber-suit movies directed by Inoshiro Honda (who, between monsters, worked as Akira Kurosawa's first assistant). Mothra, Rodan, and Godzilla are all on hand; good guys now, they band together to defend their homeland against the title creature (three snake heads stuck on the body of a turkey. There's a marvelous scene where they each pull up a mountain, sit down, and talk over strategy (1965). With Yosuke Natsuki and Yuriko Hoshi.
