Re: “Friends of the Parks saved a parking lot but effectively killed the Lucas Museum

Of course all they saved was a parking lot. Congratulations! I mean really who needs jobs, tourists, and a new museum anyway?

Re: “I don't miss Hot Doug's

"Logan Square Has Been Dead" - it's so brave of you to dish out insults while hiding behind a fake name. You know who I am but you get to hide like the sad pathetic coward who you obviously are.

You disagree with my comment.
Does anyone care?
No, because you are nothing.

Re: “I don't miss Hot Doug's

Ian, I hope that there are things that bring joy into your life. It really doesn't seem like you do when you feel the need to criticize someone who makes hotdogs, as well as his fans, instead of creating something unique of your own.

Re: “Correcting Crain's on TIFs

TIF money should be spent to actually help poor neighborhoods expand their tax base and not have taxpayer money spent as gifts to political donors on developments in neighborhoods that they would build anyway!

Re: “The Lucas Museum: On soggy ground?

Streeterville is ALL built on landfill, as well as most things East of Michigan Avenue and South of the river. Plenty of private and public development there maybe we should sue to reclaim it for public space too!

Re: “The Michael Reese fleece

SMHoffa - If that is your real name! I reread the article and am completely missing where this "deal" is being pinned on Rahm!

However it's relevant to bring up the question of why doesn't the City use the land that we own instead of spending even more taxpayers' money to buy more?
