Apart from the fact that they're both solo sketch shows, the two halves of this Annoyance Theatre offering don't have much in common. Rebecca Sohn's best stuff combines social commentary and autobiography—as when she performs a dramatic interpretation of her acting resume that mostly involves variations on the line, "C'mon, kids, wash your hands, dinner's ready." Conner O'Malley, meanwhile, specializes in unhinged weirdos: a father of the bride who turns his wedding toast into a suicide note, sitcom psychiatrist Frasier Crane having a nervous breakdown. Sohn is the more assured performer of the two, but O'Malley's turn is funnier, thanks to his dark sensibility and lunatic-on-the-loose acting style. Maybe next time they should join forces. —Zac Thompson
