It's hard to imagine, but the stigma against Shakespeare still keeps some fans in the closet. Fortunately for the Bard-curious, (Re)Discover's dizzy collection of classic scenes offers a supportive environment for exploration. Stick Petruchio in some leather chaps, wave a silicone dildo around, and suddenly the language's preeminent dramatist seems downright harmless! Director Matt Wills keeps the material's deeper themes at bay with a sprinkling of improv games and fun sex facts. His cast choose their roles by lottery before each show ("switching," in the lingo), ensuring that any illuminating readings aren't likely to be repeated. For the more experienced, the show's remedial elements may bore or insult with their triviality. —Keith Griffith
