To the editors:

If I were a student, I would fear having Prof. Bill Ayers as my teacher [November 9]. Suppose I did poorly in his class? Fell asleep during a lecture? Would Ayers awaken me with a grenade? In such an event, the system would advise him of his rights. Provide him with an attorney. Guarantee a fair trial.
