Lakeview sandwich shop that claims to have "the best breasts" ... of chicken.

Our Review

You might think you’re at Hooters when the menu advertises “the best breasts,” but Eat-a-Pita is talking about chicken, and judging from the toasty and somewhat goopy Chicken Avocado Swiss Crisper, it may be right. The breasts in question had a nice smoky flavor; the sandwich was served with crunchy fries (other options are rice or soup). The chicken salad was generously loaded with sliced cheese and hard-boiled egg and quite substantial by itself. Adding to Eat-a-Pita’s appeal is the bright, airy storefront, whereas the counter-only service is amiably brusque in a Chicago-sandwich-shop kind of way.
