Writer and mythology guru Joseph Campbell (the charming Sebastian French) narrates Jack Helbig's postmodern rendering of a Norwegian fairy tale. Our heroine, Siri (fantastic nine-year-old Sophie Jones), is sent away to live with a Great White Bear (Liam F. Winchester), who treats her well, but certain mysteries arise, and the plot twists and twists again until we arrive at our Sleeping Handsome subplot. Campbell's commentaries are annoying in a fun way—everyone gets to learn something without taking it too seriously. Amy Eaton directs a cast of "scrappy" kids for a Pigeons With Teeth production; it's part of Rhinofest, so you've got only a few chances to check it out. But I can't wait to see more from these scraptastic players—and from Helbig, too. —Suzanne Scanlon
