Dr. Seuss Day | Literary Events | Chicago Reader
This is a past event.
When: Sat., March 2, 10 a.m. 2013
Even though you were probably really dumb when you were a kid, you still managed to learn to read (good work!), and you likely adored Dr. Seuss. The man who created the red-and-white-striped top hat you loved in books and eventually wore to raves in the 90s would have turned 109 this week, and Open Books is celebrating with Dr. Seuss Day. Enjoy a wishcraft workshop, Seuss-themed drama games with the Emerald City Theatre Company, and live music.
