Dozika | Evanston | Asian, Japanese, Chinese | Restaurant
Casual pan-Asian in south Evanston.

Our Review

There's nothing out of the ordinary about this pleasant pan-Asian eatery. The spacious corner room is fresh and simple, with peach walls, track lighting snaking across the ceiling, and a small sushi bar. Menu items range from Thai to Japanese to Chinese, including chicken satay, red and green Thai curry chicken, kung pao, and a luscious tom kha gai (chicken and mushroom soup in a broth redolent of lemongrass, galangal, and coconut milk) plus salmon teriyaki and an assortment of sushi and maki. Tropical fruit freezes come in thirst-quenching flavors like cantaloupe, kiwi, and litchi, served with or without chewy tapioca balls. You can also get bubble tea lattes, which are popular for takeout.
