To the editors:

We were reviewed by Justin Hayford in your August 30 issue as performing in the theater piece The Absolute Truth.

We are not in the show.

We did begin working on the production, but left several weeks before opening night due to other theatrical obligations. We resent and regret being reviewed for other people's performances.

Our work in the improv community in Chicago is very important to us and having peers, directors and agents read this review which erroneously discusses our technical abilities and political sensibilities concerns us greatly. We would appreciate your retraction, and hope this review has not caused us any career damage.

Justin Hayford replies:

Since no program was handed out at the show, I based my review on the press release--which unfortunately had not been updated and was incorrect in its list of the cast.
