Hurray to king rave god David Prince, he found himself a rain parka at Wal-Mart, and didn't even have to pay for it ["Mud, Drugs, and Speaker Hugs," by Shane DuBow, June 21]. Outstanding work, my good man! These kind of antics are the reason many fellow musicians and probably many other decent citizens don't take these toked-up shitheads seriously. Perhaps next time I decide to take in a hip rave event, I'll sneak in, or better yet, force myself in for free instead of paying the exorbitant cover charge. Hell, Dave doesn't need my money, he doesn't need money at all; he just takes what he wants, so I will too. You know, being a musician or an artist and being honest are not mutually exclusive . . . grow up!
