Re: “Que Rico

The food is consistently good. The portions are large, prices reasonable and the margaritas are to DIE FOR!!!

We brought our 6-year old here for the first time (we have been to Que Rico often) and she even enjoyed it! And, she is very picky!

The guac is fresh, but not overpriced...hard to find these days!

Re: “O'Donovan's

O'Donovan's is a great bar to get food at. Lots of seats, large menu...only problem is the music is VERY loud. Hard to talk to eachother. We were there with my parents who prefer less noise, but overall we had a great time.

The food....not bad. Hamburgers good to all and the rest of the entrees were nothing to die for, but nothing to complain about. The wings are good, but the nachos have that blah liquid cheese....eww! The helpings are large.

The service was good although the waitress was very busy. The beer came on time and that is one thing that really made them score high.

On another note, they have a magician who travels table to table. At first we thought "how annouying", but he was AWESOME! The tricks were fun and impossible to figure out (or was it the beer?!). Best of all he works for tips, so the cost is up to you, but I tell you...he is worth a hefty tip. My parents really loved this.

Re: “Pequod's

This is the BEST pizza in Chicago. The pepperoni is nicely spiced, the garlic generous and FRESH! And, the carmelized cheese on the stuffed pizza is to die for! The atmosphere is jeans and sweatshirt, although you could dress up more if you wanted. The bar is fast and the service is great!!!!! It does get busy during show time, but for an afternoon treat...perfect...no crowds, great food and plenty of it!

Re: “La Sardine

The food is a tremendous value! Delicious, affordable french food. The feel is french bistro, with quite a bit of elegance. We had lunch, but am ready to try it for dinner. Highly recommend it for a business lunch.
