Dia de los Muertos opening

When: Fri., Sept. 13 2013
You might not know José Guadalupe Posada by name, but you've definitely seen the etchings of skeletons in fancy outfits that have become emblematic of the Day of the Dead, making him one of Mexico's most popular artists. It's been a century since Posada's death and the National Museum of Mexican Art is paying homage with its 26th annual Dia de los Muertos exhibit. The opening reception is tonight.
